The purchase brought only positive emotions.

The buzz from the Bose QC35 II begins as soon as you get to know it, when you see the perfect design, take it in your hands, feel soft, light, flexible, reliable, stroke and feel the premium materials of the headband and ear pads, and then put it on and enjoy the most comfortable fit. These are such cozy "slippers" for my ears in terms of wearing comfort, ease of use, balanced implemented noise reduction / sound. They just don't want to take it off. Especially after the most oaky and heavy B&W PX (their sound is super). I also had the experience of many hours of comparing Sony wh-1000xm2 (HQ Tidal on iBasso DX150, which seems to be able to LDAC). The sound seemed duller and more boring than a bunch of iPhone 8 Plus + QC35 II (HQ Deezer). And sit worse. When comparing each time with great pleasure, I returned the QC35 II to my head. Sony noise reduction did not work for me: powerful, but aggressive. As if the ears were filled with wax, although purely technically impressive. I specifically said "aggressive" instead of "effective", since the almost complete disconnection of hearing from the environment personally causes psychological discomfort for me.

The biggest disappointment from the Sony wh-1000xm2 is that they don't work on Bluetooth with two devices at the same time. And the new xm3 do not work (in which, by the way, the sound from the microphone when used as a headset is disgusting).

And in the case of Bose, we do this: we pair the QC35 II with the iPhone + MacBook Pro and the three of them live, allowing you to work, watch videos, listen to music on your MacBook without switching, while not removing the QC35 II from your head, instantly receive incoming calls from the iPhone, use Siri for outgoing calls, notes, reminders, setting an alarm, timer, etc. without touching the iPhone at all and it all syncs with the MacBook right there, while I am completely fenced off from the noise of open space and focused on work. This killer feature decided for me in favor of QC35 II in combination with perfect wearing comfort.

Pros

The main thing for me personally: they are competently adapted for office work - they work great in conjunction with a pair of MacBook + iPhone (see comments). The quality of materials and assembly is perfect. Superbly sit on the head (you can even say "levitate"). Convenient carrying case included. Surprisingly good sound for Bluetooth (music) even without stray like Sony LDAC. Invariably normal sound quality when connected purely mechanically via the bundled cable (without turning on the processor). Noise reduction is almost imperceptible in terms of influence on music (at maximum, there is a little more bottom, on average the difference is softer and almost not felt), it is instantly switched by a separate button, very comfortable (does not put pressure on the psyche, there is no feeling of stuffy ears, discomfort from a sense of loss of orientation in space ), The control buttons are well located and more convenient than the touch panels (tapping and scratching with your finger in the Parrot Zik 2 and Sony wh-1000xm2 infuriated me when instead of adjusting the volume it jumped to the next track or pause, I don’t talk about gloves at all). Buy on ali new high-quality ear pads or headband for 300-400. - no problem. The Bose QC35 II isn't exactly about music. Audio is their additional function, implemented with the highest quality for the Bluetooth channel. In their origin from aviation and military headphones, they are primarily a tool for protecting hearing and the psyche, providing comfort in a noisy environment, getting rid of annoying monotonous noises in transport, the office, allowing you to enjoy silence and quiet background music at work or on many hours of air travel. Sometimes I don't even listen to music in public transport. I just turn it on and eat in silence. But the noise reduction in the mind lets in a few sounds in the middle range (sharp sounds, hissing of brakes, rustling of car tires, voices of people around, announcements in transport) are barely audible, which does not bother, but at the same time allows you to orient your brain in space and does not flatten from unaccustomed dead silence.

Cons

Micro USB charging. I would like Type-C already. Price. The same (not in 2022) are the latest Sony wh-1000xm3. For its niche of use, there are no more disadvantages. Audio maniacs can grumble at not enough crystal clear sound, compare with Bowers & Wilkins PX or Sony wh-1000xm3 but I repeat: this is not about FLAC / DSD / 24bit / 192022 Hz / Aptx-HD / LDAC and other things, for which there are other bundles player-headphones to clearly hear all the nuances of the sound track and the ideas of the sound engineer. If you want to listen to Hi Res music - buy a player + headphones of the appropriate level, for example, iBasso DX150 + Beyerdynamics DT770 Pro (excellent price / quality ratio), with which the same Sony wh-1000xm3 (even with their LDAC) did not lie around, because via Bluetooth it is purely technically impossible to fully transfer all these high-discharge kilohertz FLAC, DSD, etc. to headphones.
