Installed in the trunk of my 2003 4Runner. This LED light was wired and installed on the existing back panel of a previous non-functional ceiling light. Much brighter and works great. I am considering getting another one to replace the rear seat cover.

Light itself is fine and works well. The mount is a little light and wobbly. A very thin wire is sufficient for this task, but it is difficult to process due to the small wire size. All in all I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Installed this as a ceiling light in my small camper setup. Installation was easy. Ground and door wires connected together and red on power. So it happens no matter how I flip the switch. Not as bright as I was hoping but still good value for money. Hope this lasts long.

I installed this light in the rear trunk lid of a 2019 Toyota Hylander. I routed the wire to the worthless trunk side light. Connected according to instructions. Works great and works as described. Keep in mind this is a foreign made car and the ground wire worked for me. The tricky part was detaching the inner panel to run my own cables through. The brightness of the light is good but the mount you mount it on is weak and keeps the light above the surface so the wires can move when you mount it because You need to align the 4 pins and then slide that out about 1/2 inch. The 3 position switch (door, off and on) for the one I have doesn't work in the door position (yes it's wired correctly there are only 3 wires and one is ground) and it's weak too, no sure how long it will last if you use it very often. Luckily I can leave the switch on

This is a nice bright surface mount dome. I installed it in my Morohome to replace an incandescent bulb that wasn't bright enough. The bracket is very thin and easy to install. The bracket mounts first and the bracket lines up with the tabs, then slides out of the way and stays loosely in place. I didn't like the cheap mount so I decided to mount the lamp differently. As noted by another YES reviewer, the cable passage hole is off center when you slide the mounting plate over the light. never mind Easy Fix.1: Drill a larger hole in the mounting plate. This ceiling light has three wires coming out of the back of the unit. Red wire (goes to +12VDC), black wire (goes to ground) and yellow wire (door open pin) which should be connected to the wire in your car that detects when the door(s) are opened. It is recommended to connect the RED wire to the +12V DC wire, connect the YELLOW wire to the vehicle door open sensor wire and ground the BLACK wire according to the instructions provided.
