Works very well. suitable for scanners and accessories

Works very well in my dental practice for scanning insurance cards. We also use this to scan driver's licenses and crop the scanned image to use as patient photos. Very easy and efficient.

Doctor Doctor's office

Used for insurance cards and identity cards. The detail quality of the captured images is excellent. The smaller card slot means the rack is lighter. Installation was easy and quick. Small so doesn't take up much space.

Terrible product - broke, fixed, broke again within a week

This product is horrible - it worked for a couple of weeks and then the images went black. I called the service, sent it to the post office, fixed it - it worked for a week and then again the same problem. WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

DOES NOT WORK WITH APPLE!

THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT WORK WITH APPLE! The product description doesn't say that so I spent hours trying to figure it out and then asked my assistant to figure it out, only to find out NOW that it doesn't work with Apple computers. HELP! Now I know I'm outside the return window. FULL DISCOVERY.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • silent

works well before it starts to affect the calibration, etc. our volume was too big for them. It's given to doctor's offices, but I wouldn't recommend it for that. after years of suffering i'm fed up with those garbage gums in people's wallets. I'm bored of this. We switched to Fujitsu fi-65F tablets because I was tired of supporting them. Goodbye forever.

Pros
  • while you're satisfied

I don't like the main menu, it's not there

I don't like the main menu, it's not there. You don't even get the main menu, there are no instructions on where or how to save the scanned file. I did a sample scan and couldn't find it. I'm still not sure how to really use this thing in the best way possible. Not impressed. No individual insurance fields are scanned, just a copy for storage in the electronic patient file. You still have to manually enter all insurance information into the insurance section of the program you are using.

  • New

Great product - used in psychiatric practice

We use it in our office to scan insurance cards and driver's licenses. It doesn't take up much space. It is easy to use and the scan clarity is excellent. We've had it for exactly 2 years now and we've just started having problems with scanning, sometimes pink or a bit dark. Admittedly, we waited until we had problems with the calibration and cleaning kit. The manufacturer recommends cleaning after every 1000 scans, in retrospect I would clean after 500 scans to be on the safe side. I will buy…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

Excellent product in the office electronics section

Before I bought this scanner I did a lot of research and came across conflicting reviews. However, I ordered this model as it matched my description according to my needs. I received the scanner a few days earlier than expected and it was great. The installation was explained very clearly in the supplied documentation and went smoothly. When I installed the software on my Windows 7 PC, I called customer service to see if the device would be compatible with Windows 8. The call was answered by a…
