I used this extender to extend the HDMI cable from my PC to my Oculus Rift headset. Seems to be working fine. Didn't notice any lag or jitter, just plugged it in and everything was fine. I'm thinking of buying a few more to expand some of my TV's capabilities. Good product

Inexpensive and does what it's supposed to, great for connecting a longer cable to the Oculus Rift. Just remember it's female/female. So if you are ordering a longer HDMI cable, make sure you are not ordering an "extension" that is female/male. You will need a long standard male to male HDMI cable. I have a 16" HDMI cable coming from my PC to the IN of the repeater, then I plug the Rift into the OUT and it works great.

It worked to extend my rift! I also used an active USB 3.0 cable. Now I can leave my room with him and never face reality again! My family is concerned but I am not! Works great for me with Oculus Rift. I have a 25ft HDMI cable from my GTX1060 and everything works fine. Update: I was just about to buy another one for my TV across the room from my PC. I needed to extend a custom HDMI cable, it was difficult to find a replacement cable because the cable screwed into the bezel of the conference table, HDMI male to female cable with screw lugs on the female side. I may have a faulty unit, but my experience has been less than outstanding. Works well for a few minutes with a small crackle, then shuts off as soon as the on-screen volume is turned up. I think that the repeater cannot handle the audio and video traffic in both directions. I've checked the connectors, they don't appear to be damaged - and the cable isn't experiencing any unusual pressure pulling it out of the repeater because I've taped the HDMI cables to the wall.
