You need to understand that it is impossible to fully replace the network hair dryer with this tool. Ideal for working with heat shrink during electrical installation, when working from a ladder, indispensable in the absence of electricity at the facility. In theory, it can warm up a frozen padlock.

Pros
  • Much more compact compared to network models. Acceptable operating time (30 minutes at minimum power, 15 minutes at maximum power. Battery 5 Ah)
Cons
  • A short set of delivery, a carcass and three nozzles in a box. All.

A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

Didn't get the product on the day of delivery! The store (dew. shop) went to the meeting and delivered the goods the other day, thank you so much!

Pros
  • Great hair dryer! A 5Ah battery is required for long-term operation! Mobile. I am satisfied with the purchase ! Without acb. and zu.

DeWALT DCE530N 1F5ED The air flow is rather weak, but this is a feature of all rechargeable hair dryers. It drains the battery pretty quickly (5Ah is enough for 15-20 minutes at maximum power), but compared to competitors, this is not the worst result. Like all cordless hair dryers, there is no precise power control (apparently because it is not super high anyway). Took for work on the arrangement of the campsite, where there is no permanent source of electricity (work with heat shrink, film…

Pros
  • Compact Rechargeable Has a power button lock feature
Cons
  • There are no shortcomings, there are only general features of battery models.

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

DeWalt DCE530 E96A2 I'm very happy with the Phoenix! The tool is very handy. Easy. I use it mainly for heat shrink and other small jobs. Very convenient lack of wire! On a 5 amp battery for max. power works 17 minutes. This is quite enough. You can even warm the lock or a frost-bitten pipe. The kit comes with 3 nozzles: for pipes with coverage, narrowing to 15 mm (I mainly work with it) and flat (as I understand it, to remove old paint).

Pros
  • Mobility, light weight, workmanship.
Cons
  • The disadvantages include a small air flow and not high temperature. But this is due to the fact that the hair dryer is rechargeable, and it is impossible to get more power with any continuous operation from the battery. So, in my opinion, this is not a drawback, such a tool is bought for tasks where Super-power is not needed.

Not that impressive

I wanted to like it but it was rather disappointing. It doesn't blow much air at all, at altitude it can hardly shrink into heat shrink tubing, it has to be 1 inch or less from the front or nothing will happen. It also eats batteries. It's just not worth it. Let's get back to the butane gas burner.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No performance

Eats battery very quickly.

Purchased to heat the tape on golf clubs for easier removal. It does the job. for 4-5 golf clubs. It's a good thing that I have two batteries in rotation, because they actually only last a few minutes on "high". The "Low" setting generates almost no heat. Be careful when buying. I like wireless operation.

  • Great for me

Not what I expected

Bought to heat and 'relax' a hookah instead of using a burner. Was excited not to use on an open fire like I have in the past. I look forward to the portability of the cordless heat gun. However, it just doesn't generate heat as I expected, even tried a 60v battery and it didn't matter. I love Dewalt tools and this one is very well made. I'm sure I'll find something to use it for. I'm GC, so my tools get a lot of use, but I need to find another job for that. can you warm up dinner

Cool if you're not expecting a heat gun replacement.

To be clear, if you want a full featured hair dryer, NO cordless hair dryer will make you happy. This tool is great if you know what to expect. I use heat guns to tint windows all day. It won't work like my Wagner, but it does a great job with the DETAILS of the film. I also use it for heat shrink tubing on remote controllers. There will NEVER be a fully functional cordless heat gun. The downside is that it eats batteries, but they all do. I have big batteries so it's not a big deal. I want the

Ideal for short term heating

I bought this as a tool to apply vinyl graphics and such. things around the store. I have used Dewalt heat guns for many years to install full wraps and make simple signs. I wanted to be able to quickly grab and remove bubbles or just install small pieces of vinyl. For that it works great. Yes, as other reviews say, it doesn't move much air compared to Dewalt's plug-in model, but what do you expect? It's a heat gun, they suck energy - I'm shocked it works just as well as 20 volts! It's getting…

Ideal! But it won't replace a high-end net gun

Just what I needed. Some of the reviews I think are from people expecting a 1000 degree hair dryer. It says 6 CFM. I needed this to form some pex waterlines. and it's wonderful! If you are trying to tint a car or vinyl an entire car this wasn't done in the back of your mind I wouldn't believe it. but it's 1/3 the size of the $200 Master Appliance Cord Gun. and wireless. I make a lot of 12v switchboards and also great for heat shrink tubing. If you want a big crazy heat gun, unfortunately this…

1/4 performance of a cheap $10 plug

I don't really care about the overall temperature and just wish it had a stronger/faster fan. Even if it only put out 200-300F with a faster fan, it would make it much more enjoyable to use. Or max it out and if I only had 5-10 minutes of battery life I'd be happy. It generates very hot air, but you have to place it within an inch of what you want to heat and leave it there forever. At low temperatures, the heating coils generate less heat and the fan runs slower. The fan hardly accelerates at…

DEWALT DCE530B 20V MAX cordless heat gun [no tools]

It's not exactly high performance at 990 degrees Fahrenheit and 6.7 cfm at high speed, but it does for a smaller channel of 1 /2" to 1-1/4" I can do a standard box shift in about 5 minutes while covering the end of the tube to retain heat. It also works well for heat shrink cable lugs and UF heat shrink connector kits when working in a trench. The simple tool comes with two nozzles, a heat shrink deflector and an expander. It has two temperature ranges, but I mostly use high settings. You…

Pros
  • Brazing and soldering equipment
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Let's get that out of the way first. It is a battery powered heat gun. If you expect hours of operation, that just doesn't happen here. Now if you want something that doesn't run on fuel, that you can take anywhere and that has a runtime measured in minutes, then this is for you. What I need? I bought this primarily to heat adhesives to reset sign logos, labels, heat shrink tubing and the occasional frozen door lock. For all these purposes it is AMAZING. It gets really hot, you only have to let
