Cummins recommended. cost efficient.

Recommended by Cummins. Fits perfectly on my 2012 Cummins 6.7 and is more economical than almost any other resource I've found. I always reorder when I've used up my last oil and keep 3 gallons of Rotella on hand so there are no expectations or excuses when it's time for an oil change.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Negative gift

Quality Oil Filter

. I dare to cut one and compare it to Fram or another filter. The mopar brand filter they sell (and the Dodge dealer) is also a Fleetgaurd but the standard vehicle version is no problem, better flow and filtration at a great price should all 5.9/6.7 years in Aries fit

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Requires Cummins Stratopore Media Outlet

Cummins Best Filter

Good Filter for RAM Diesel Engines. Closest to stock and Cummins approved. Bought for first oil change in 2016. Best used with Lisle 61580 93mm 15 point socket. Removing the old wheel arch filter was a real PITA and made a huge mess - be sure to use the plastic bag trick. This saves you a lot of cleaning. #lessons learned

Quality oil filter

Good oil filter. I once used a Mopar filter on my very first oil change on my Ram 2500; not at all since then. I wouldn't put anything in the car other than an AMSOIL filter. It's relatively inexpensive, and why would you put a cheap oil filter on a vehicle you use for mission-critical tasks? I'm in the process of installing another one.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Having problems

I wouldn't buy anything else on my 6.7. I've looked everywhere and this was the #1 oil filter recommended for my truck, particularly because it has longer drain intervals than most. As an OE supplier for Cummins, price and first class delivery; It would be foolish to look elsewhere for an oil filter.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Contact seller

2007 5.9 Dodge Cummins. I had the money to buy the recommended oil filter for my truck so I bought it. I used some sort of Donaldson filter from a local semi. I like the oil filter better. What I like the most are the ribs on the bottom that make it easier to take them off. Equivalent to Lisle 61580 93mm key with 15 facets for end caps.

Cons
  • There are nuances

Designed for Extended Drain Intervals

If you use full synthetic filters (like me) in your Cummins Ram Truck, these StrataPore filters are the way to go! They are designed for extended drain intervals, making synthetic oil economical. They keep the oil cleaner for longer. Many filters will fit, and they might if you use regular oils, but keeping the oil clean for the long life of a synthetic oil is what this filter is all about. I will not use anything else in my ram.

It's an oil filter, but a good one. Revain's opinion too

.Written for other Ram 6.7l Cummins owners I've always read that Fleetgaurd is premium or just plain good stuff. I usually buy Mopar stuff from Geno, but since I've bought so much from Revain before, I thought I'd give up the Revain store this time. And I'm kind of glad I did because the entire purchase of everything, especially the oil, was a hell of a lot cheaper than the store retail prices. I usually buy two oil filters, a set of Mopar fuel filters and 2 x 3 gallon boxes of Rotella T5. But…

ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! on filter

I never had any problems with Fleetguard products until I bought these. I have worked with diesel trucks for over a decade and have NEVER had an o-ring failure like this. I put one of these on my 14 Ram 2500 and the o-ring was fine when I rubbed it with a light coat of clean oil before installing it on the truck. After driving a few miles, I noticed my oil pressure gauge dropping like a rock. The truck lost over a gallon of oil in just 15 minutes of driving! I stopped and checked to see if it…
