Worth every penny! Best in GPS Running Units

Definitely worth it. Honestly, if you're looking for HR, don't waste your money. This fenix 3 is worth the savings and money. Tracks everything I do and the battery life is great. Good quality material. Not paying attention to what apps and widgets you have can drain your battery, so download only a few and then make sure they're not active to save even more battery life.

Bad battery: GPS, viewfinder and accessories

Less than 24 hours after receipt and I had to charge the refurbished Fenix 3 twice, a full charge takes less than 10 hours. When I called Revain support they did a little research and said there was no way to replace the battery. They also stated that if the battery was low, the watch was considered disposable. Because of this, they advised against buying another refurbished Garmin.

    Pros
    • Easy to read control panel
    Cons
    • Not the best

Factory refurbished, 1 year warranty, looks like new.

This is not a review of the fenix 3 itself as there are many reviews out there. I rate and comment specifically on the repaired aspect. To clarify, this repair is from Garmin and comes with a 1 year warranty. This is not a third party repair. The watch looks like new with all accessories. When considering whether to buy new or renovate, choose refurbishment. What I got is 95% as good if not 100% almost half the price. This is not a problem.

    Amazing product! Veteran Approved

I love my Garmin way more than the Fitbit and way more durable than the Apple Watch, mine passed the test and still had no issues. If you want a good gps tracker and fitness tracker and don't need all those fancy tech like facebook and other useless apps great for hunting, hiking, fishing and all other outdoor apps, I swim and fish with it and had it never had a problem in pool, salt or fresh water. This product is great. My only regret is not spending extra money on a heart rate monitor.

Refurbished junk best for sports and portable gps

Worked fine for 5 months. I use it for swimming. Bluetooth dropped connection and just randomly connected. I would turn off the device, remove it, etc., but there's no reason this would be so inconsistent. The display is very difficult to see even with the lights on. When I'm in a pool with Google, I can't see the display. UPDATE: After speaking to Garmin, they told me that the issue with BT is related to iOS version 11.1. However, they tell me that it is not known how long it will be…

Love this watch in GPS, Finders & Accessories

Before I bought the Fenix 3 I used a Polar M400 to track my runs. I decided to upgrade to a watch with more features and longer battery life because the M400 wouldn't survive an ultramarathon and I couldn't charge it on the go. I've been using the Fenix 3 for about a week now and it's amazing. The battery life is exactly the same as other reviews I've read and the navigation features are incredible. I now feel much more confident exploring new trails and streets in my city because I can pre-map

    What's not to like?

This is my first fitness watch. I can't compare myself to other watches of this type, but I'm satisfied with the Fenix3. The watch syncs with GPS in seconds. The phone app is very handy and once the phone is connected to the watch via Bluetooth, updates are easy. I really like that the Garmin Mobile app connects to Strava. That's the main reason I bought the watch; because I'm tired of lugging around a big phone while running/cycling. There are many features that I haven't yet discovered in…

    Functional and EASY to use

This watch has been gone for a few years. The current price of $234 is what I bought it for when I believe it was $500 when it was originally released. I ordered and returned a Fitbit Ionic GPS watch because it was the opposite of usability. These Fenix 3s are incredibly easy to use. I wanted something that would show me my current running pace and how long I was running in real time. This watch does exactly that, but after a run you can also go back to the watch and see how fast every single…
