This thing just doesn't work

I've had wall adapters like this before that worked fine, but this thing doesn't work. My 3 pin connector doesn't fit the 3 holes for this thing! They only connect halfway, I just threw that thing away because I'm pretty sure there's a fire hazard or something if my plugs don't connect all the way to it. It's cheap and doesn't do the job it was designed for. I have nothing to say about this device and I think I need to buy it from a better brand or something because this wall adapter just…

The only one for multi-outlets

This is the only one of its kind that I could find. What's so unique? Is the fact that each block of 3 sockets is connected to its own connector on the back. It doesn't matter to most of us, but if you have a dual-wire wall outlet, like those outlets you might have in your bedroom for bedside tables that are controlled by a wall switch, you're very well catered for. You can say you can leave the lamp on the switch controlled half and use a 3 port extension for the other half. However, this…

Not GFCI compliant

I bought four of these adapters. They weren't compatible with the GFCI outlets in my garage and were breaking circuits, and this may be due to the adapter pressing the button during installation. I couldn't tell. He did it four times four. In all other outlets they have worked great and look great. Design wise, one of the issues was that I felt the ground pin wasn't installed properly as it was loose in the unit and I worried it would break during installation; They didn't, but I would be…

VERY GOOD QUALITY Adapters and multiple sockets

Some other devices have built-in USB ports. The amount of juice coming out of these ports is usually too small to give you a quick charge. Skip them. This is just a basic product that converts your 2 socket floor socket to SIX sockets. IMPORTANT: You remove the cover from your old outlet and then plug it into these two outlets. BUT it comes with a screw in the middle where there used to be a screw for your old socket cover. GREAT! This ensures a RELIABLE connection. OTHERS I have purchased that

Some questions buyers should consider.

This is a good choice if you don't need a surge protector. However, there are a few issues buyers should be aware of: 1) Given the size of many of today's power adapters, the average user may find that they cannot use more than four outlets at a time, as was the case with me. So for most buyers, it might just be a quad-socket adapter that doubles the existing capacity of a traditional outlet instead of tripling it. See the photo I've included for an example of real utility. 2) Due to the…

  • Great Price

  • Some Cons

There are two nice features here: (1) it uses -2- plugs on the back (see below) and (2) it has a strong central screw to hold the socket securely. With 2 rear plugs, it's really 2 sets of 3 sockets. In my bedroom, where the wall switch only controls 1 of the 2 outlets in the adjacent double outlet, this provides 3 outlets that are turned on by the light switch and 3 outlets that are always 'on'. The first 3 when the switch is on turns on the electric blanket and bedside lamp (I use a dedicated…

Not enough sockets? Take it!

Handy little device. Simple and effective. For some reason the builder of my house thought the garage only needed one outlet, which pissed me off. I got this 6 outlet adapter and it has made it so much easier to plug in multiple devices in my garage. There are two three-pin connectors on the back (see attached image). I have confirmed that the top plug only powers the top three outlets and the bottom plug only powers the bottom three outlets. The installation is very easy. If you want to use it
