Bad batch or cheap copy!?

The stitching that holds the two hooks together is too low, preventing the rim from snapping properly. It doesn't look like the original. Someone is trying to sell us a cheap copy or a very bad batch. Please do not buy!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing here

Fence Post Puller for Garage and Business

Luckily I haven't used this for car recovery, but it's great for pulling fence posts out of the ground. Sturdy design, easy to use and works well. If you use your jack for farm/garden/garden work as well as off-road use, this is a good set to have on hand.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Does the job but unexpected stink. ?

Copes with its task. The hooks are large enough to hold large aluminum needles. Looks strong and reliable. The only downside: it stinks like hell. My whole garage smelled bad sitting on the bench. Chained to a closet that now contains his stench. Don't even think about packing this in your car without some kind of container. The stench appears to be coming from the rubber bumper/insulator on top of the unit.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are nuances

An essential off-road accessory for a High Lift Jack

Offroad Partner is an essential accessory for a High Lift Jack. The design looks messy, but I've only used it on my lightweight compact SUV, which weighs less than 4,000 pounds. The hooks attach well to my rims, but they may or may not work depending on the type of wheels you have. Modern cars have less space to mount a jack, this may be your only option. A lifting assistant and a hoist will be used to recover the SUV. You may need to get a piece of plywood or something else to put under the…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Modern

I wish the hooks were a bit longer because as some others have pointed out they don't have as much grip on 'thicker' alloy wheels (which are pretty standard these days) as they do on stamped steel rims. The only place on my 2016 F-150 with factory alloy wheels to mount this unit is around the "thick" part of the tread, which also has some pretty sharp edges. To prevent the rims from "cutting" the surface of the hooks (and eventually damaging the rims), I carry a small piece of high durometer…

Is there a high lift? Try to lift the car without this guy.

Another reviewer put it as simply as possible, without it lifting most cars with a Hi-Lift is next to impossible. Saw this when I first bought my Hi-Lift and thought it was a great accessory. but finally passed. I recently had to adjust the parking brake. Lo and behold, the floor jack broke. So let me use my Hi-Lift which I always carried with me and never had the opportunity to use it. First I was trying to figure out where the heck to even start jacking up the Jeep (JK). Realizing that…

buyers be aware. - Jack

I received this item as expected. Thank you Revan As you can see in the picture the stitching is at the top next to the block and there is a nice piece of strap between the bottom stitching and the hooks. In most images of this product that I see online, the distance between the hook and the bottom stitch is between 4 and 6 inches. Mine is about 2 inches. I've recently found that I can't move the hooks far enough apart to use them for their intended purpose. Since it's not everyday use, what…

Pros

This product name is Perfect, “Lift Mate”

March 2017 Hi-Lift Jack LM-100 Lift Mate Cost: $40.92 After using it with the Hi Lift I can now appreciate the jack more (ask security). When raising the vehicle, the jack does not have a safe point of contact. The name of this product is Perfect, "Lift Mate". Seams are great Someone reported they had an odor, mine is not made in the USA. Comes with product with reviews. Comes with clear instructions for use two and which is why I changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars after using this product…

Ideal for lowering the center of gravity when jacking up

Pros: This handy little thing lets you raise the rig without de-stressing the hanger. What does that mean you say? When lifting the car onto the frame, you must take the weight of the car off the suspension until the wheel/tire is finally off the ground. On a car with a lot of articulation and travel, your suspension can fail quickly. But by jacking up the wheel instead of the frame, the weight of the car stays on the suspension so you don't have to jack up as much. This is great for keeping…
