God! This thing is a headache to plug in! I am returning this item. Don't waste your time. My laptop won't use the CD so I'm screwed! I hate writing bad reviews but I don't recommend it.

Great printer for the price! The only complaint is that when printing a shipping label (e.g.) you see small white dots on the barcode and other heavily printed areas. Not sure why this is happening, but other than that it's a great printer.

Can't say anything bad here. We have this to print our own shipping labels. It's easy to set up and within 10 minutes out of the box I was ready to print labels. The labels print fine after I lined up the first one. Printed over 100 shipping labels and every single one was perfect.

For my needs the printer worked fine for about 3 months before it broke. I printed a shipping label and then printed an additional label and it never printed again. I've tried all the troubleshooting suggestions but I still can't bring the printer back to life. I need to know how to replace it.

This is a small reliable label printer that I have used for online trading. I saved so much time crafting with 8.5" x 11" sheets of paper that I printed shipping labels on. So just buy a thermal roll so you don't have to worry about refilling ink, just shipping label rolls. It took some testing to set up, but you generally want it to fit on a 4x6 shipping label. The diagnostic tool has a configurator for adjusting darkness and print speed.

I've been using this printer for two days and it works great. As some of the other reviews say the drives come on CD and I don't have a computer that reads CDs. I googled and found the driver very quickly. I downloaded the driver and installed it with no problems. I couldn't find any diagnostic software anywhere on the internet, but I didn't need it. Works great after five minutes of setup. You REALLY want to use the included CD, so make sure you're doing the setup from a computer that has access to a floppy drive (or copy all of those files to a flash drive first). It contains not only printer drivers but also diagnostic programs. The print quality in the factory settings was too low, so I changed the density to maximum using the diagnostic tool software - problem solved. Ideal labels. There is nothing good about this printer. The design is bulky and takes up too much space. It doesn't calibrate at all. No matter how many times I installed the drivers AND updated the drivers, the calibration just didn't work. Every time I wanted to print a label and not waste 2 of my labels I had to turn off the thermal printer. Turn it back on. Let it "calibrate" by spitting out 2 labels, grab the sides of the roll and pull far enough that when you print the printer doesn't print on 2 labels

As another reviewer mentioned, having access to the CD drive is very useful so you can use the included diagnostic tool to reconfigure the printer settings. I couldn't find a diagnostic tool online with a quick search. However, I was able to find the driver download very quickly, so no CD drive is needed.
