So far, so good. I received it today and it works.

So far, so good. Got it today and it has been running in my 65 gallon reef tank with 35 gallon sump recirculation system for about an hour now. I have 2 exhaust manifolds and use 75% of them. Very quiet, you only hear the sound of the water coming out of the overflow. I will give another review in about a week if everything is ok.

Red Sea Reefer 350 for fish and aquatic life

I use this on my Red Sea Reefer 350. The pump arrived quickly with no problems. When opening the box, the pump control module rattled a bit. I decided to open up the controls and found that the threaded ring holding the pump connector had come loose. I was able to rotate it and put everything back together with no problems. The pump is much lighter than I expected and very quiet compared to my old Sicce. I use the pump 100% but wish it had a little more power for my needs. Overall a great pumpโ€ฆ

Quiet, efficient, no air intake

I put two of these in the sump for my 140 gallon freshwater setup. They replaced the Little Giant 4MDQX, which was much louder and less efficient. This surprised me since these DC pumps are much cheaper. I'm running them at full power, which makes the variable speed feature useless for this application. In retrospect, I should have bought a DCT-8000. OK, one downside. With the Little Giant pump, I knew it was time to add water when bubbles appeared in the stream. However, these DCT pumps willโ€ฆ

Louder than expected - disappointed

the wine is terrible. Much louder than expected at all speeds. Video at 30 percent, which annoys me more than full speed because the pitch is lower. I have this in a 29 gallon BioCube. It barely fits, but I put some foam between the pump and the glass to keep them from touching. I let it run for about 12 hours because others say the noise quiets down after a while. I hear no improvement. If the situation doesn't improve soon, she will return. Not impressed. I can't say for sure if they haveโ€ฆ

Jebao DCT Pump: Water Pumps

I purchased the DCT-4000 and DCT-6000 on November 20th, 2015, the DCT-6000 was installed on my 125 Oscar tank the day it arrived, about 6th Months after that, Oscar died from an "I'm jumping out of the tank" injury and we switched to salt water. Since then, this pump has been running 90% 24/7 with a 2-3 delivery schedule per day. When we moved (2 years ago) it was in the bucket for a month before I could start the tanks again. His current job is the mixing station for my seawater (last year weโ€ฆ

We bought a used pump, there were no spare parts.

This is the second DCT 4000 pump I have bought in 'like new' condition for $58 each. That's just over $10 off new. I noticed that the pumps are not used. They're clean like they've never seen water and they smell like new. No smell of algae or aquarium water. However, both were missing a piece. The first lacked an output port adapter. They sent a fork instead. The latest pump is missing the 1 inch inlet fitting. Luckily I can use the one on the previous pump as I am not connecting a hose to the

Both have pumped well and are working to date

Over the past 4 years I have tried a few different pumps in my current installation. My first pump was an Aqueon QuietFlow AQ2300 and then I upgraded to a Rio 14HF. Both pumped water well and are still working today. But I always had a vibrating noise no matter how hard I tried to muffle it. They had rubber feet, foam cutouts to lean on, and even foam-wrapped water tubes where they made contact with every surface. They get quieter over time, but you can still hear that "hum" all the time. After

BEST PUMP! Okay, obviously it's not the BEST pump, but for the price you can't find anything better, and frankly, you don't want to. This pump has exceeded all my expectations. It arrived well packaged and in new condition. The supplied instructions are detailed and easy to understand. The pump has a plastic body but feels solid and heavy. After installing the pump, I turned it on. NOTHING. at least that's what I thought. Didn't hear it working, I thought it was defective until water startedโ€ฆ

Still holding up with no issues!

I replaced my Tunze pump with these. It's very quiet. My Vortex MP10W is louder than his. It's also a powerful pump for my new tank Red Sea Reefer 170. 80% power is more than enough. Please note that a DC pump is different from an AC pump. The DC pump slowly increases the speed. I like this because after every water change there isn't suddenly too much water filling the tank. Now I'll see how long that lasts. My Tunze lasted three years and still works, but cost me $180, with less power and aโ€ฆ
