Review on 🌊 Enhance Your Marine System with the Jecod/Jebao DCT Marine Controllable Water Pump by Heather Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

We bought a used pump, there were no spare parts.

This is the second DCT 4000 pump I have bought in 'like new' condition for $58 each. That's just over $10 off new. I noticed that the pumps are not used. They're clean like they've never seen water and they smell like new. No smell of algae or aquarium water. However, both were missing a piece. The first lacked an output port adapter. They sent a fork instead. The latest pump is missing the 1 inch inlet fitting. Luckily I can use the one on the previous pump as I am not connecting a hose to the inlet side of this pump. Acquiring the missing fixture will likely cost a few dollars. at your local hardware store. The first pump is used with a siphon system with a 30 gallon refugium sump. The second is used with a 4,000 GPH pond pressure filter with a built in 13W UV light. 125 gallon fresh water aquarium with cold water fish. I use both pumps on the bare minimum. Two lower flow pumps are better than one large high flow pump. This allows the filter media to better capture debris and give the UV enough time to sterilize, irrigate and kill any pests that cause things like eczema, cotton bumps and fungi. These pumps are quiet aside from a low noise level.
