A FUN way to give money (gift cards not accepted)!

A VERY interesting way to give money! In order to pocket a bill, you have to fold it quite small, but the recipient has to make a little effort to get the prize. Love it! I actually used it as a monetary gift for my adult son - and the Grinch for getting him to return the box so I could use it again. I probably wouldn't force a friend to return it, but moms can do things like that.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • unreliable

LOL Worth every penny

When the grandkids get to the age where they just need the money and not what you choose, well this is a great way to pack the money! It was a lot of fun watching this 13 year old boy solve the puzzle and eventually win the prize! Not difficult at all, but still better than just handing over a wad of money. We bought two, one for a 13 year old and one for a 15 year old, both thought it was fun! Conclusion: It was worth it and I would recommend it to everyone.

Great value box

I gifted this to a brand new one over a month ago. I put 'Grad' stickers and money in it and sent it in a box with goodies. The 18-year-old still hasn't opened it. I'm not sure if this is about the magnificence of the maze or a potential lack of clarity for our future leaders. But I wanted to make sure that it took her several and apparently several months. In comparison, I had to open it to put the items inside and it took less than 6 minutes. So lol this is a fun maze gift box.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other sets

VERY small but fine puzzle maze! Not easy to decide! :-)

This is VERY small. A gift certificate does NOT fit in there. A ring, coins or folded money will do. I'm currently looking for a plan B to give away vouchers. ****** UPDATE*** The gift card does not fit BUT I bought the game card code online, printed it out, folded it very small and put it in the puzzle box. My 11 year old really enjoyed solving the puzzle! All the other kids want it too. This maze puzzle was MUCH harder than the others I've bought. I'm really glad he had so much fun solving…

Interesting way to give money

My sister in law is 20 and the best gift for college aged people is money. It was a fun way to give her money instead of just giving her a cash card. And since most Christmas cards cost the same as this puzzle, I don't think I really had to pay more for it. Your decision will not be long in coming. I got one for my teenage niece last year. I think it took her 10 minutes max to open it. So if you're looking for something super complex, this might not be the best choice. However, if you want…

Worked well for a cash gift!

I was looking for one of the plastic mazes that the White Elephant gift card is in, but they were ridiculously expensive for such a low price (and most had lousy reviews). I stumbled across this and knew it wasn't suitable for a gift card but I could put cash in it. It appeared to be well made and I was very glad it ballooned near the trigger (since I was packing late at night and out of bloom). It was a decent cavity and I could fit money and a bunch of change in it without even filling it…

An interesting way to give money

I was looking for a different way to give money and found this creative puzzle. It was fun to watch the recipient struggle a little to get their gift, but it was a lot more expensive than just giving money on a card. The reason for my 4 star rating is for two reasons. At first it turned out to be a bit of a problem getting the money. You have to fold this bill several times to make it fit. If you have distributed multiple bills, this may not work. Second, the opening instructions are very…

Solve the maze to open the lid

There are only two things I didn't like about it. First, it was too easy to choose. Of course I'm an adult and this is made for children from 5 years old. The second thing I didn't like was that the box has a large "Made in China" sticker on the top of the box that rips if you try to peel it off. I don't mind that it's made in China. I was going to give this to them and it ruins the box if it has a torn ugly sticker on it and it doesn't look as good if you just leave it. This does not affect…
