good suggestion for ite siemens panel

better than qf120, this qf120a has screws for load and neutral. expected. Local test button and simulated fault with GFCI tester on non-GFCI sockets correctly trigger the switch

Pros
  • excellent overall performance
Cons
  • no automatic

For years I've been plagued by an external GFI connector mated to three connectors that keep popping up due to inexplicable GFI malfunctions. I could never find a fault with the wiring or the actual connectors. I ended up removing the GFI connector and installing this GFI switch on the main panel instead. It's been two months now and no more problems!

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works as expected easy to install.

Siemens is a well known brand, very reliable items, excellent value for money. Does exactly what it should. And everything is easy to install once you know what you're doing, and frankly if you don't, the instructions are easy to follow. That being said, if you don't enjoy this type of work, I would suggest hiring someone who is unforgiving, if you make a mistake or are careless, bad things can happen.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The original two switches installed three years ago failed and had to be replaced. I have a relative, a professional electrician, and he stopped using Siemens equipment because of poor quality. The only circuit breakers available locally were combination earth and arc fault circuit breakers, which I don't need in a workshop.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

What I need to replace a 15 amp GFCI circuit in the airflow

Used to replace a 15 amp ground fault circuit in an air RV. I must have inserted the wire incorrectly on the first try; thought that doesn't work. Tried again later and it worked. The wire at the bottom is very thick copper, so it's difficult to route it in between all the other wires in the small space of the RV's junction box. Trimmed some of the twisted wire and that helped. Thank you for finding this hard-to-find item!

Pros
  • a handy item
Cons
  • so far so good

Exactly what I needed and cheaper than the store

My circuit breaker main board uses these and similar ones for the whole house. Only 4 yesterday, the same with the garage door opener. Last week one for my garage door (that's the one plug in the house) kept tripping when the temp went over 100F. After the 3rd reset in a row I plugged an extension cord into the door opener. Guess he didn't turn that switch off for a week, on days with temperatures over 100Β°. When I went to my local hardware stores, yes several stores, I couldn't find the…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long shipping time
