The  algorithm calculates the optimal amount of hash rate that is needed to switch from mining one coin to another in the pool, such as UBQ to EXP. After allocating the required hash rate to mining the new coin, the remaining hash rate is then used to continue mining the current coin. This means that there is an efficient management of the total hash rate by the team of miners and ensuring maximum profit for all miners.
