ChainLink is a token based on the ERC20 protocol that works on the Ethereum blockchain. The creator of ethereum revolutionized the world of blockchain and cryptocurrencies by introducing smart contracts, but the problem with these contracts from the beginning was how they interacted with the outside world of blockchain and the real world.
More specifically, it was impossible to transfer information out of the blockchain space to smart contracts. ChainLink currency was created by a company called Smart Contract to solve this problem.
