Pros
  • DigiByte has released their new Wallet Gaming, combining the power of digital payment worldwide with social media and online gaming.
Cons
  • Lack of Use Cases/Differentiation Many investors are of the opinion that DigiByte has no real use case advantage over its more popular competitors in the crypto space.

DGB-30 sec blocks vs BTC-10 min blocks, DGB 5 decentralized mining algorithms vs BTC 1 centralized mining algorithm, they have the same amount of coin supply (21 million) but with DGB all 21 million coins will be out in circulation in 20 years while with BTC it will take 140 years.

Pros
  • Well the logo looks cool, although the little digibyte robot is clearly just a copy of the Michelin man on a diet. I look at DGB, but frankly, what about it stand out to me. No black market even accepts it in payment, which is the main purpose of the crypto.
Cons
  • It needs more acceptance/buzz and would benefit from increased marketing efforts.

How can DigiByte improve? By better marketing! They never had an ICO so they missed a huge opportunity to get the word out. Right now, I’m not interested in investing in this DigiByte since I don’t think the price will move much in the near future. But I will keep it an eye on it for the future since it’s technology seems sound.
