Dogecoin is a old and trusted coin. They have kept it simple and friendly. With a helpful community and safe hidden payments. Doge is a commonly used meme, there approach to the coin was to be much more lighthearted than bitcoin. Not so serious. It is one of the only top coins with a mascot. Dogecoin

It started with a joke…. But it became serious business. Eventhough the founder of Doge is perceived to be a shady figure, the Doge has a substantial track record and a large, loyal following. Although Doge is not the most serious project, I wouldn’t personally qualify it as a scam tbh, certainly not on the scale at which real scams are infecting the crypto space. Not a scam at all in my eyes, but I wouldn’t invest my life savings in it either. Just my 2 sats.

  • Very fast and cheap transactions. Fee is almost always only one DOGE which is usually less than one cent. Very passionate and friendly community. Was originally created as a meme coin. It is currently being used a lot on dogecoins subreddit. It's in top 100 in CMC ranking. It's using scrypt algorythm. The community is fun and helpful. DOGE was one of the biggest gainers in September. At the time of speaking it has market cap of $665,140,948 USD and price of $0.005719 USD Doge and ethereum were used to successfully make a bridge between two blockchains. Block reward is decreasing every couple of thousands blocks and decrease of block reward will stop at block 600k with reward of 10k DOGE/block

Overall Doge coin started as a meme coin but it has survived for quite a long time when most of the other project failed. The interesting thing about doge coin as per me is low transactional fees and it's very easy to transfer funds.
