Ethereum Classic is an alternative crypto currency to bitcoin that uses blockchain technology to allow people to send money to one another securely and privately. It is the currency of choice for people interested in a decentralized and peer- to-peer economy . In August, the Ethereum Classic project was listed on the Hong Kong exchange Bith umb, where it has been trading since March 22 , 2017. It is one of the top 10 largest cryptocurrency markets in terms of trading volume . E TC was added to the B ith umbrella on August 24, 2017. The Ethereum Classic project, which was launched in July 2017 , supports a blockchain network with a 1 ,000 million strong network of computers, and allows users to send, receive, and verify payments via smart contracts . The network is based on Ethereum, the original blockchain and the first cryptocurrency and its blockchain technology was used to create the Ethereum blockchain and it is still the first major cryptocurrency . The E TC network consists of a public Ethereum blockchain and a private blockchain . The public Ethereum blockchain and the private Ethereum blockchain are not connected in any way and can be easily exchanged and distributed .

Cons
- Ethereum Classic and other cryptocurrencies have seen some price appreciation. However, a lack of liquidity is holding back the price.
