NEO is a project that has long been regarded as China's Ethereum. Ecology revolves around the use of NEO Token as a currency. NEO-blockchain was first developed in 2014 and is open source since 2015. At that time, its name was Antshares, it was renamed to NEO in July 2017 and launched NEO Network 2.0 in August 2017. Currently, the company explains itself as “China's first open source blockchain”. Neo occupies the 22nd position in the cryptocurrency rank and is listed on several exchanges with a large market volume.
