The bridge allows you to connect the two chains and send Ethereum tokens to Free Ton and vice versa. It appears complicated, but it is not; it is similar to what we do in computers when we wish to imitate one system in another; all it takes is a cross-reference database and some code. The cross reference in the instance of ethereum Free ton is created by taking the token from the source chain and producing an equivalent token on the receiving chain. If the token has to be returned, the process is reversed: the token is passed from the receiving chain and the matching value is returned to the previously transferred token, which is then delivered to the new owner.
