In support of the Paragon project, the view is expressed that successful technical implementation can have positive consequences for the entire agricultural industry. The emphasis is placed on the possibility of transferring the activities of manufacturers and suppliers to blockchain and smart contracts.
Pros
- (+)- the preservation of the full information on marijuana and its use of medical standards, prescribed by doctors, verification of customers and suppliers; (+)- fixation in the Paragon system of the complete production procedure – from the quality of seeds and soil to the production of ready-to-use product; (+)- support for cryptocurrency, which will become an official means of payment for settlements.
Cons
- (-)- the lack of a specific action plan to achieve a rather complex goal – the withdrawal of the drug from the shadow industry in the legal sale worldwide; (-)- there is no legal strategy – the project is expected to create a platform for joint action, it seems that the project will continue to move only on the enthusiasm of users, not developers; (-)- the source code of the Paragon blockchain is not publicly available; (-)- The Whitepaper contains merely General plans without a detailed description of mechanisms for their implementation; active development is carried out to support the cryptocurrency Paragon, but its real value has not yet been disclosed due to the lack of functionality; (-)- there is no transparency in the ICO – the ability to identify the exact amount received by developers from investments is absent; also there is no accountability for the expenditures.
