It was a project that sought to promote the development of sustainable, transparent and reliable Blockchain technologies around the world, created in 2019. Through its platform they sought to connect investors and suppliers with projects through the application of blockchain technology, and they even had the Immense ambition to create the world's first blockchain city with an alleged partnership with a government from a Chinese province called Guizhou. They also planned to proactively finance future revolutionary projects such as bringing their technology to restaurant chains, airports, supermarkets, on a global scale.
Through its platform there was an exclusive system, in which Smartup users would earn rewards by verifying data, which would improve transparency in the project and generate confidence from future investors and reduce the risk that many ICOs currently present.
Smartup supposedly achieved partnerships with several companies in Asia, to provide technical and consulting services related to other traditional listed companies worldwide and promote a digital transformation of blockchain technology in all spaces in a more productive way.
The cryptocurrency was listed on an Asian exchange of dubious provenance called coinbene and was accused of inflating the value of the coin just to attract investors. They also claimed to have associations with a large list of recognized companies, which even doesnt knew about the Smartup initiative, which makes it clear that this project, although it had a very novel idea, was misleading potential investors.
Fortunately, this project did not have the success that its creators expected, and they were not able to convince them, in addition to that it can easily be seen that it was led by inexperienced people.
