Before I wrote this review for the TUSD section, I thought it was a token imitation because it used a very similar abbreviation to USDT for its tokens, but after researching this currency, I changed my mind completely.
The tether currency has entered the market with the slogan of supporting the real dollar, but over the past few years, rumors about the lack of a real dollar have grown. TUSD entered the market with the same purpose, and the difference is that there is a guarantee of real dollars and all real dollar documents (according to what I read, this is done by a third party).
Pros
- To buy directly from a trust token, KYC and AML must be done, which prevents fraud and money laundering
- The real dollar backing is well documented
Cons
- The TUSD purchase fee (from the parent company) is very high for low amounts ($ 75) and therefore it is better for high amounts that the fee is 0.1% of the purchase volume.
