This cookware set has an appealing look: pots, pans and lids in light blue and a silver stainless steel base. They are solidly built and very functional. With the exception of the frying pan, all three of the other utensils have lids in the same color as the pots and pans. Except for the pot, which has handles on both sides, the other two pieces of cookware have a handle with a hanging ring if needed. The set contains three kitchen utensils made of beech wood: a spoon, a slotted spoon and a spatula. The utensils are described as dishwasher safe. The pan should be ceramic and non-stick coated. The product description on the internet does not explain how safe the ceramic pan is. Having heard that there can be safety issues with some non-stick coatings, I searched the internet and found an explanation that oven glazed and uncoated ceramic pans are safe. It appears to be from a reputable source so that satisfied my concerns, but it might have been better if that explanation had been included in the product description. One star deducted for that. Nevertheless, the product itself is high quality, very functional and attractive.
