Having spent most of my life in the military and wearing government issued combat boots that never fit properly, my feet are totally hip now decay. These Skechers shoes are the most comfortable and comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They're easy to put on and you don't need a shoehorn. I wear size 12 4E depending on the shoe manufacturer. When Skechers say "wide shoes" they mean exactly that. These shoes are wide and true to size. I noticed that some of the reviews were low because people had issues with the rubber band breaking on the bow. I would say the reason for this is that they use shoes for high activity sports that put a lot of strain on the arch of the foot. You are better off wearing lace-up tennis shoes that can withstand abuse. These Go Walk shoes are designed for walking, not high activity sports. Wear them for their intended purpose and there will be no problems. I love them and especially recommend them to people with serious back problems. They are easy to put on without bending over or tying the laces. They look good enough to wear anywhere and the price is right for what you get.
