I use this to shut off my main water valve in case of a water leak. I use a water leak detector that works with Alexa and the Alexa procedure activates the Smart Life skill to close the valve. So far everything is working fine and I've actually had a persistent drip in the carrycot that triggered the detector and closed the valve. Although the damage is minor, you can never be too careful when it comes to water damage. One problem with all these smart handles is that the handle isn't long enough, so I had to improvise and drill holes in the T-bracket and attach it to the short handle. Now the lever gets more torque to move the ball valve easily.
