I love this mandolin. The protective cover on the holder is a great feature that I've never had on other similar products I've had. I've ruined a few blades because I didn't have guards, and I've cut a few fingers because I haven't used a holder in the past. This mandolin is well priced and has not had any food handling issues so far. I recommend it to anyone who wants to cut vegetables quickly and evenly.
