The speaker is broken/cannot be satisfied

Arrived on time, no problem, but one of the speakers is not working. I've checked all the wire connections to the working speaker and they're fine, so the receiver is fine. After much searching I called Philips customer service and reported the problem and they said they would send me a new speaker. It was a month ago. Nothing. So now I have mono stereo. I think I can pretend it's a 1940's record player or something. Or I can throw it away. Don't risk buying this.

Pros

Classic design. The two-tone center unit and the loudspeaker housing are reminiscent of the design of the individual hi-fi components. The textured volume control gives the performance a nice analog feel. The front panel has buttons for playback and source selection.
