Stainless steel cookware set Chinook Ridgeline Solo

Overall a very good stainless steel cookware set. The device is nicely made and well constructed, with the exception of the pan handle, which I'll talk about in a moment. The pot lid fits snugly and very tightly, forming a good seal. The cup is exactly what it looks like, a cheap plastic cup, but it works perfectly. The pan and plate are very good and the copper plating on the bottom of the pot and pan seems very evenly and nicely applied. All the pieces nestle together really well and are held together by a pot handle that swings over the boxed set and locks into place. The set comes in a nice nylon drawstring bag that keeps it very secure. I only have 2 complaints about the kit hence I only gave it 4 stars. 1. The handle of the pan is spot welded with two tiny spot welds on the side of the pan, and it is not a very strong attachment. This works fine for lightly loading stuff into the pan, eggs and bacon and the like, but I'd worry it won't work if you're actually loading the pan with cooked food and trying to lift the pan. My old aluminum kit has a handle that attaches with a wing nut and is as strong as you could ask for, capable of lifting a pan with a large load of food in it. The handle on this kit is clearly not designed for lifting. Pan with a significant weight in it. I will just transfer the food from the pan to the plate and not try to lift the pan with the food. The 2nd complaint concerns the handle of the pan, which is also used to fix the stored kit. It folds nicely over the compact kit and snaps into place to keep the kit compact but I was hoping it would actually snap securely into place but it didn't. It snaps into place and holds the kit together, but it's easy to open accidentally. However the very nice nylon storage bag keeps the set very secure so it's not a big deal to me so I think my only 'real' complaint about the set is that the pan handle really needs a lot more attachment . safer than before. Overall I am very happy with the set and it should work very well for my needs.
