Fabric and upholstery appear to be well attached to the plastic part of the window; However, the plastic brace that goes into the horn isn't very thick, so the plastic keeps flexing after a few rides in the car. This did not affect my rating, info for other buyers only: The nose attaches with a long clincher that needs to be threaded through the grill or elsewhere in the front of the car. I assume this is the typical fitting method, but it does mean you have to make sure you can access the back of the grille, which on many newer cars isn't possible, or at least very difficult.
