I used to use them as a mechanic at work. We've always encountered tight pulleys and bearings that won't move. I haven't actually tested them, but they actually look better than the ones I've used at work. I didn't have anything like that at home, so when I saw her, of course, why not. I have some cheap belt clips that I've never had much luck with so I can see where they come in handy. I remember using a hammer and chisel (or screwdriver) to loosen the oil filter more than once. They will work perfectly for this. I have purchased several Monster & Master instruments and have not been disappointed with any of them. These lockable chain tensioners are no exception. Based on the quality of the Monster & Master tools I've tried, I would place them a notch above the Harbor Freight tools. Each has been well-crafted and rust-resistant finish. The handles are comfortable to hold and feel durable. The screws turn easily without binding.
