Review on Fluke I400 400 Current Clamp by Angel Serafini

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but cheaper than the alternative

This clamp works very well in combination with my flukemeter (I'm pretty sure ALL flukemeters do this as they measure voltage use for reading). DC clamps are very useful when troubleshooting battery powered 12/24V DC systems and are hard to find with reliable accuracy and calibration. The resolution is quite high for a clamp meter. This saves a significant amount of money as a standalone product compared to an overhead unit with a display. It's a bit bigger than I expected and with the usual high Fluke price point. Otherwise, as usual from Fluke, at the highest level.

Pros
  • Maximum conductor diameter 20mm, CAT III 600V safety
Cons
  • Update available
