This is my first review of Revain, I never review. I have ridden for many years and have always used standard Ancra ties, I still have them and have served me well for 10 years. I thought these 1.5 inch Powertye ties would be an upgrade. But now I have confirmed that when they get wet they slip terribly. If they are dry I would trust them across the country. But as soon as the tape gets wet, it slips off. This happened to me in the rain, and every time after a ride I wash the bike on a trailer. It's a shame for a product with such good reviews.
