Review on Bridgestone Blizzak VRX 195/55 R16 87S winter by Adam Kowalski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I thought it would be better, but overall not bad.

From the experience of other tires (at least 1 season, this is 3-4 months in different conditions): Yokohama Ice Guard IG30; Bridgestone Blizzak Revo2; Nokian Nordman RS. Bridgestone Blizzak VRX Asters J 1.6 MT 205/60 R16. I drove 2500 km on rubber, but it did not get better. I would compare it with Revo2 only a little better on side drifts and rows better, and everything else has not changed much. Lateral drift on slush with sand turn to the left roundabout driving 25-30 km/h drifted from the left lane to the right since there was no car on the right (temperature -10, I pass this circle 3-4 times a week). Very often the ABS is activated and the ESP turned off the situation worsened, if briefly, it does not behave very well in snow porridge at a temperature of -10 and below. Another thing I didn’t like was that the road builders drove by, removed the snow, sprinkled sand on the ice, almost no ice began to slow down, and how the sleigh had to turn on 1 speed (temperature -13). Everything is fine on packed snow and wet, on clean asphalt at +5 / +7 it behaves like a summer noise level is small. I took it on the advice of breeches lovers from among my friends, although I already had experience and didn’t really like Revo 2, but they persuaded me. Had I known, I would have taken something else to try. I took 4750. If in your city there is often snow porridge (at -10 and below) and very lazy road builders, I do not advise. Lovers of one brand, do not mislead people, keep your personal sympathies to yourself, then you should brush aside spitting. Do not take "to heart" the reviews of people who drove only one brand (brand) of rubber, they stupidly have nothing to compare with. Any winter tires have + and - there is no universal one.

Pros
  • Quiet, new in which case you can buy 1 and not all 4
Cons
  • Everything is in the comments.
