Review on ChiaoGoo Circular Stainless Knitting Needle Knitting & Crochet by Gelin Battle

Disclaimer: I'm a permanent member of Team Hiya Hiya. I only bought them because my size 2 lone circle rings broke at the cable connection and they arrived quicker than the Hiyas. (Can't you let a project sit for too long, amirite?) When they got here I was ready to write a not-so-great review after knitting my first round. The needles themselves are not very sharp, and the cord stuck terribly to the yarn, so it was very difficult to put the loops on the needle, despite the smooth connection. However, after putting in a few more laps, I've softened my stance and am actually starting to enjoy it. The string must be "shrunk" or something, because the stickiness isn't as bad as it was. The connection of the needles seems solid, and while the needles themselves aren't as sharp as I'm used to/prefer, they're still enough to work easily with basic cables. My only complaint with the Hiya Hiya is that the line comes off the needle quite often, requiring me to buy a new set every few months. Of course I tend to be hard on my needles so that's to be expected, but if the line lasts on them for a while I could be a full convert.
