Nice texture and high quality art paper

Until recently I only painted on Arches watercolor paper. However, I've noticed that Arches uses animal gelatin, which I don't want to endorse. So when I searched Google for a vegan alternative to something similar, I came across this brand from Canson Heritage. I drew a few washes on Canson paper and was delighted with the results. There is something very pleasant about the feel of paper. It almost feels like a very soft, heavy fabric. He feels very rich! The washes were very smooth and held water long enough to cover an 11x14 surface. I look forward to experimenting further with this paper!
