Modified for use in a sink instead of a shower

I thought this handle or tips could be used in Oral Breeze as they are very similar but do not work and are leaking. If you had the same idea, forget it. This device is designed for the shower. I'm not a fan of the plastic switch and didn't want to use it in the shower anyway. I have a metal diverter that I hooked it up to and I think it works great. If you want to turn it into a sink, you'll need one like this, which costs $14 at the time of this review: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086X5GWDW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc= 1 It comes with a LONG hose (for use in the shower). I couldn't unscrew this tube so I just cut it off and inserted it into my derailleur tip (1/4") and screwed in a nut to hold it in place (comes with a derailleur). Love the length of these nozzles and you can easily reach all areas of the mouth, but it is not easy for me to remove these attachments and put another one on, so if you share this with several users, it is not so easy, for one person, it is good as it won't be daily toggling as this puts pressure on the hose and can cause it to rupture I don't need this for my sink which is set up the way the diverter toggles easily if you use it in the shower how you are not meant to have any choice but to use the button as an on/off switch. Expect the hose to burst from the pressure at some point. I would buy a metal shower switch instead of using the one that comes with it. Unfortunately, the only thing I could find was Oral Breeze shower silk. Link, $28: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CEMWHI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I couldn't even remove just the handle from the tube in this kit so if the handle fails why I think the whole set needs to be replaced. The whole reason I bought this kit is 1 floss head. The new Oral Breeze floss heads are now two piece and the clear heads will deflate and break under water pressure. Having purchased SEVERAL different shower and dishwater cleaning kits over the years I now have loads of parts. I might try swapping out the o-ring on this tip and see if I can get it to work in my Oral Breeze instead.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
