Works fine for oral care though

I'm increasing my rating to four stars in this updated review. Initially I had trouble taking photos from a plastic mount with more than a trickle of water pressure. However, after looking at it through a magnifying glass, I found that the slot that was supposed to hold the image and rotate and lock it was not completely punched through. I fixed it with needle nose pliers and now the photos are fixed. The floss works great now, with more pressure. However, the backing of the sticker holder…

Well worth the money and easy to assemble

I wanted a water thread but didn't want to invest in an expensive one. My dentist suggested a shower device that I didn't know existed. So I bought this. It seems like a neat little device. It doesn't pulsate, but you can control the pressure somewhat. In my mediocre apartment shower, the flow is strong enough and I feel like it's doing what I wanted. I bought this to give my gums a little extra thorough cleaning, I don't have any serious dental equipment in my mouth. I would suggest getting a…

Difficult to install, low flow

Bought to replace an old shower irrigation thread that had a broken bypass valve after 5 years of use. the male pipe comes out of the wall. It took a few tries to get it to start properly without the cross thread, replacing the old floss as well as another replacement from a different brand worked just fine. Trying to tighten this floss was incredibly difficult and caused the plastic to chafe quite a lot because I had to use a wrench to tighten it just enough so it wouldn't leak. The manly…

Dentist's Recommendation - Oral Care

I'm a dentist and we honestly know you don't floss! So if you don't floss and need something to improve your oral hygiene, get this. I use it. It is also highly recommended for people who have many fillings, crowns, bridges and/or fillings. And let's not forget the suspenders! It's almost impossible to floss all those tiny edges, you need the power of water. The cost and simple maintenance-free design of this product make it a no-brainer. Plus, the fact that you can combine it with something…

Normal price, good materials.

I am a proponent of open trade. However, some products made in the US, or the West in general, tend to be of higher quality (particularly plastics and stainless steel). This is one of those products. When I opened the box, I wondered what I got for my $20+. I was hoping for a bypass valve but installed a block when none was there. I believe the valve is not missed as there is more than enough pressure. In addition, the PVC cable to the device seems to be of very good quality. The price is a bit

Better than dental floss!

Was at the dentist in December. All my "numbers" were over 3's, lots of 6's and 7's and 14's (low back, infected). i hate dental floss Bought, used for 6 weeks, back to doctor and all numbers were 3 or lower except 14 which healed to 7. My hygienist was happy. It's dirty, but in my heart it doesn't matter. It took me a little while to find the best way not to tickle my tongue too much, but practice helped. I like that the controls are on the handle itself.

Pros
  • A dream comes true
Cons
  • Not bad

I LOVE this item. My dental hygienists told me that I REALLY needed to start flossing because of the ongoing periodontal disease I was dealing with. I've had it for YEARS but it just kept lying around because it was too cumbersome to use. First of all, you have to pay $60 for the Waterpik device. Then you need to find a place to plug it in, where there is a place to install it. Then you have to fill it with water and do this several times if you want to have a longer "session" with it. THEN you

Modified for use in a sink instead of a shower

I thought this handle or tips could be used in Oral Breeze as they are very similar but do not work and are leaking. If you had the same idea, forget it. This device is designed for the shower. I'm not a fan of the plastic switch and didn't want to use it in the shower anyway. I have a metal diverter that I hooked it up to and I think it works great. If you want to turn it into a sink, you'll need one like this, which costs $14 at the time of this review: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086X5…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Oh, the joy of middle age. where we can enjoy those things and not other water toys like jet skis and hot tubs. If you need one of these, you know who you are. The only way out is to use a simple water-powered oral irrigator. No fuss, no gas stations, no chaos or grumpy devices making a huge rumble. I have previously tried the competing Redi Breeze faucet system. This worked great but made a holy mess. I also didn't like that it took up space under the faucet on my low sinks, and finding the…
