Review on Affordable H2Oral Irrigator Floss - Hate Flossing? Save Money with a Budget Water Flosser! by Born Bowman

Difficult to install, low flow

Bought to replace an old shower irrigation thread that had a broken bypass valve after 5 years of use. the male pipe comes out of the wall. It took a few tries to get it to start properly without the cross thread, replacing the old floss as well as another replacement from a different brand worked just fine. Trying to tighten this floss was incredibly difficult and caused the plastic to chafe quite a lot because I had to use a wrench to tighten it just enough so it wouldn't leak. The manly threads on this floss seemed fine and my shower head was pulled straight down. At first the tips couldn't lock into the pen, until you finally figured out that your hands have to be wet or you can't grip the tip well enough to lock it. The tips of the old floss, as well as the second replacement floss, had large areas that could be gripped with wet or dry hands, making it fairly easy to change tips. The attached picture shows the hard tip of this product and the tip with the clear part is from the floss that I had to replace. Spray everywhere while waving the tip back and forth. A quick on/off button or valve, like most of these flossers, on the water source would be much more helpful. Eventually the water flow was incredibly weak and did almost nothing. I haven't had this problem before and in fact the old floss may have been too stiff when fully unscrewed. The new replacement has good water flow when twisted all the way out, but not as stiff as the old one. the original i had.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
