I LOVE this item. My dental hygienists told me that I REALLY needed to start flossing because of the ongoing periodontal disease I was dealing with. I've had it for YEARS but it just kept lying around because it was too cumbersome to use. First of all, you have to pay $60 for the Waterpik device. Then you need to find a place to plug it in, where there is a place to install it. Then you have to fill it with water and do this several times if you want to have a longer "session" with it. THEN you must try VERY hard not to mess with the water all over the place, and if you inevitably DO, you must clean it up! With this H2Oral Irrigator device, NONE of these problems will be a problem again! It's very easy to install - it takes about 5 minutes or less. The only catch is that in my case I had to replace the shower head because the one I had didn't fit, but I think most regular modern shower heads will do. Once installed, simply take a shower, and when it's time to turn on the irrigator, simply turn the "knob" to turn it on and adjust the pressure. Unlike Waterpiks, you have unlimited hot water! And you're in the shower, so if water squirts out of your mouth, that's no problem. When you're done, just turn it back on to turn it off and hang up! It's so easy and works great! The only "perk" of the Waterpik is the pulsation, which can feel a bit like a gum massage, which is nice. The H2 oral irrigator only produces a steady stream, but I suspect it still works. I guess I'll find out on my next checkup in a few months! :) Oh, and it's one of the few things you can buy at Revain these days that's made in the USA, which I think is a big plus too! that does not work. The wax backing just wouldn't come off, so I ruined the glue backing. I emailed the seller about this and never got a reply, so THAT was a little disappointing. Otherwise this item is perfect! Affordable, convenient and efficient! Ahluvvit!
