This is a great replacement faucet, stylish and good quality. except one. The bottom bar that goes through the counter isn't long enough if you have the counter material [granite or other] and then the cabinet below with a frame that the top piece of wood also goes through. Some higher end cabinets also have a wooden top you can walk through, especially if it's a corner cabinet [like ours] which gives extra stability. Therefore, for the installation we had to drill a 2" wide hole in the cabinet [bottom to top] so that the bolt on the stem could only be tightened on the granite countertop. Difficult solution to implement but luckily it was a workable solution. The original block we replaced had a longer stem.
