I bought this product due to a compatibility issue with my VR headset (HP Verb 2) and x570 motherboard. With a previous installation, the VR headset was not recognized by my computer. After investigating the issue, a user on Reddit suggested this product as a workaround. So I installed this product on my computer and after plugging in the headset, it was recognized immediately. An added advantage of this product over some others is that it obviously doesn't require an external power cable. This product draws power directly from the PCIE slot in which you install it. This is handy as it makes installation very easy and of course keeps your computer nice and tidy.
