Didn't work as advertised

I don't think it was worth the money. It said that HDMI is connected to the TV and the 3 RCA cables are connected to the TV and it didn't work. I really want my DVD to work and it didn't. I think that the cords ran the other way around back then. HDMI goes to DVD and RCA goes to TV. I did not want. He said he went the other way.
