Now that I've been working on this for a while, it's time for a review. My reaction to this camera has gone from one star to the five I am giving it now. TLDR: The camera is great IF you take the time. /remote applications), it is easy to communicate with small microcontrollers and capture images with a resolution of at least 1600x1200. The camera documentation is complex but accessible. Libraries are not clean and not intended for beginners, and in some cases cause corruption themselves. The camera is prone to failure, so short cables, faulty and cheap breadboards, and the like will produce unexpected results. Even at best, the camera is somewhat incompatible, so your code needs to take that into account. Sometimes when you ask the camera to take a picture, it will trigger somewhere between the first and fifth try. constantly takes pictures and uploads them to the server via cellular connection without using an SD card. The large 8MB camera buffer is extremely useful in this regard. Does this camera work out of the box? No it won't. Not without work. This camera is intended for electronic hobbyists and not for general consumer or commercial use. Have fun!
