Review on ORIA Wireless Refrigerator Thermometer with 2 Remote Sensors, LCD Touchscreen, Audible Alarm, Indoor Outdoor Temperature Monitor for Freezer, Kitchen, and Home by Sarah Zepeda

Revainrating 2 out of 5

But works well enough.

Update: My rating has been downgraded to two stars. Why? Sensor #1 stopped working and only read 50 degrees. Another sensor, number 2, blinked up and down. The instructions don't say why. I thought maybe alkaline batteries don't work well in freezing temperatures. I took out all the batteries and left them at room temperature. Replaced and cleaned. After a few minutes, all three sensors were within one grade. So my conclusion was batteries. I replaced AA with Lithium as they are good down to -40. The moment after the sensors have settled and settled, reset the upper and lower levels. While it seems to be working. I highly recommend this monitor when using lithium batteries in the sensors. Otherwise, this monitor is not recommended due to useless instructions and battery problems. I have this thermometer to read the temperature of the freezer in our kitchen and the freezer in our garage. The garage fridge door was opened and closed several times, once it wasn't fully closed. I had to completely disassemble the freezer to melt the frozen coils. Anyone who has had to do this before knows that you don't want to do it again. like that . Before going to bed, make sure the freezer door is closed. There must be a better way. I found this fridge monitor and decided to give it a try. First, the instructions are almost useless except for identifying the key components. I figured it all out by seeing what happens when the buttons are pressed. Second, after installing the batteries, click "Restart" to erase all saved information. Sensor number 1 didn't show up, a reboot cleared it and it finally started reading. Third, forget about the suction cups, don't hold them and don't let go. Use the clamp to attach the sensor to the stand. Shaft installed horizontally. Works great and doesn't bother. Fourth, I would like to have a lock to save the settings. I accidentally pressed the button and had to reprogram the layers twice. The measurements on the underside deviate by 5 to 8 degrees. The garage fridge is about 40 feet away and the monitor picks up the signal with no problem. The monitor is installed on the kitchen refrigerator. In general, everything works as it should, but it's difficult to set up. If you are tech savvy then no problem, get it.
