This is a nice, simple little fish finder. Seems to give accurate depth and is quite responsive to changes. You can't tell for sure if it's seeing a tree trunk or a rock, but it does show the relative size of the obstacles. Surprisingly, it comes with a stuff sack rather than a waterproof console. The beauty is that it can use any type of battery rather than expensive specialty or built-in batteries. Simple, quite intuitive menu/settings. It seems like it should come with a carry case and 12v boat/power supply, but it gets the job done for the base price.
