In the world of high-tech gadgets, the ingenious box is the best! I wanted a scanner for a cookbook project and didn't want anything big, bulky or expensive because I already have a printer in another room, but I didn't want to STAND in front of it for days while it reads a line, line by page, page by page. Luckily I found this invention! I downloaded the Adobe Scan app (use your favorite scanning app) to my phone and set it to automatically capture each page after I clicked the 'next' button. As soon as I can put a new sheet in the box or turn the page and click next, my phone is used to take a picture! No need to wait while the copier scans the page! BRILLIANT! When I'm done I tell him to save the PDF [the scan app does that for you instead of just taking a picture and snapping a JPG (photo) which will use all of your printer's ink when you print will need the document later.] Refill documents are crystal clear and always have the right anti-glare lighting when you need to flatten a sheet of paper, with the handy "clear paperweight" included.
