📁 SmartScan Bin: The Ultimate Document Scanning Solution Review

A simple but extremely useful tool for scanning objects. I got it yesterday and am using it to scan old photos for my mother's funeral (I'll be reprinting some and using some for a slideshow). This is especially handy as some of the photos are in albums and I don't want to take them out due to their delicate nature. This might come in handy in 2016 or 2017. Now it's a piece of junk. Bought a few weeks ago to scan photos and documents. It's not worth using. Newer phones, like my nearly two-year-old iPhone 8 (and even iPhone 6), have built-in scanning for documents and photos into Notes. This feature is much faster and automatically corrects shadows and perspective. I'd throw this in the trash, but my town hasn't recycled paper products in months. So this scanner goes to the trash.

Sophisticated and fully functional "device". I use Scan Pro on my phone. Within seconds of putting the sample sheet in the box, I made sure the flash was on and centered the iPhone lens over the hole/document and an incredibly sharp scan was sent to my files folder. I don't write many reviews because I usually get frustrated with gadgets. I was about to spend $200-$400 on a photo scanner when I saw this at Revain. I decided to give it a try and even added extra bucks for the LED strip. Shocked! It worked very well in combination with my iPhone (11).
