Review on 🚀 Boost Performance with the 2018-19 Jeep JLU & 2007-18 JKU Onboard Air System by Tim Surridge

GOOD Good packaging. On time delivery. The construction and parts used for assembly are well thought out and designed. Installation was easy enough as they are available in online videos. The instructions are a PDF file. They recommend going paperless, but in my opinion it's a noble but impractical idea. Trying to skip through the PDF pages was excruciating, so I printed it out. All parts from Kleinn were top notch. After reassembling everything worked as it should. THE BAD Wish Kleinn would mark the details better. The hardware and fittings they sent in the kit were the cheapest parts they could find. For what they are charging for this kit I think they will send the best fittings and hardware. I noticed some metric fittings that should have been used where SAE was required, the washers were the wrong size. My kit was missing one of the metric screws that held the skid plate in place. So it was a trip to the parts house and extra expense. My kit was also missing Kleinn Juice, after calling Kleinn they said the red thread fixative was a good substitute. Another extra expense and a trip to the parts store. I went this route so I wouldn't have to bring my case up and then wait another 4-5 days to install. DANGER About 2 weeks after installation I pushed the horn button and nothing. After pressing the button several times, it finally worked. But only very occasionally. I assumed a switch. I emailed Kleinn support and basically asked for a switch replacement as I didn't want to take my dash apart just to check the switch. They replied and said I need to check the switch, I guess they didn't hear me? So I ripped up the dash and checked the switch and guess what, it's bad. So I assembled the dashboard and contacted support for a replacement. At the time of writing this review I have yet to receive a response from them. SUMMARY I would recommend this product to a friend because of the top quality compressor and horn, but I would also tell the buyer what to expect from the hardware. Kleinn if you are reading this spend another $5 on your end and supply quality and correct nuts, bolts, washers, switches and turn on the Kleinn juice. Kleinn Juice was also missing from the JL 220 add-on horn kit I bought. They have the best product, just don't stumble on a dime.
